About Singapore Transit Tour

The Singapore Transit Tour offers three (3) curated guided tours for eligible transit passengers of Changi Airport. The tours are organised by Changi Travel Services Pte Ltd under the brand of XploreSG.

The tours aim to provide passengers who are travelling through Changi Airport, a unique transit experience, turning their layover into a Singapore stopover. Through the tours, participants can visit iconic sights of Singapore, have a taste of local cuisine and still make it back in time for their onward journey.

The tours are:

• City River Cruise | 2pm - 6pm (4 hours)
• Sentosa Skyline Tour: | 5pm - 10pm (5 hours)
• Marina Gardens Tours | 11am – 5pm, (6 hours)

All tours will start and end at Singapore Changi Airport.

To participate in the Singapore Transit Tour, it is require to have a minimum transit time of 7 hours. This duration is recommended to ensure that you have ample time to enjoy the tour and comfortably make your way back for your onward flight.

The three (3) tours are only available and will run concurrently per day on Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays.

Our STT booths are located at:

• Terminal 1 (Near Gate D41)
• Terminal 2 (Near Gate F50)
• Terminal 3 (Near Gate A6)

Passengers below 18 years old are not allowed to join the tour alone and must be accompanied by an adult.

All passengers must sign an indemnity form prior to the tour and the indemnity requires signatories to be 18 years old (based on birthday) and above.

Children aged 0-3 years old (based on birthday) are eligible to join the tour for free.

The tours are conducted in English. The tour guide can provide Mandarin translation upon request or as needed.

Joining the tour halfway would not be possible as all tour participants are required to:

• Complete the purchase of the tour tickets online via Changi App or at any of the Singapore Transit Tour booths at least 90 mins (1.5 hours) before tour starts
• Assemble and check-in at least 60 minutes(1 hour) at the Singapore Transit Tour booth - Terminal 2 Transit (near Gate F50) before the tours start.

Marina Gardens Tour: Please check-in between 9.30am - 10.00am for this tour.
City River Cruise Tour: Please check-in between 12.30pm - 1.00pm for this tour.
Sentosa Skyline Tour: Please check-in between 3.30pm - 4.00pm for this tour.

Check-in will close 60 minutes (1 hour) before the start of each tour.

An online pre-booking for the Singapore Transit Tour can be made up to thirty (30) days prior to your intended tour date.

You are required to download the Changi App and setup a Changi Account to pre-book the tour(s) online, please check if your layover coincides with the tour schedules before proceeding to book.

Payment can be made online via Changi App with Visa and Mastercard.
Payment can also be made at the Singapore Transit Tour Booths which accept Visa, Mastercard, UnionPay, WeChat Pay and Alipay.

Walk-in purchases can be made at any of the Singapore Transit Tour booths located at Changi Airport Terminals 1, 2 and 3 during the booth operating hours.

All online and walk-in purchases are required to be completed at least 90 mins (1.5hours) before the tour starts.

To reschedule your booking to an alternative date, simply contact us at transit.tour@changirecommends.com.sg, we will get back to you within 7 working days and inform you of the other available tour dates.

Once a booking has been placed, cancellations or refunds are strictly not allowed.

However, you may contact us at transit.tour@changirecommends.com.sg for a change in tour dates and we will reschedule your booking to an alternative date.

Tour participants are advised to store their bulky items or baggage at baggage storage within the Transit area.

Participants of the Singapore Transit Tour can enjoy a flat storage rate of SGD 8 per item for baggage of any size at any of the Smarte Carte baggage storage counters located within the transit areas at Terminals 1, 2 and 3.

To enjoy the special rate, simply show your Singapore Transit Tour confirmation email or the wrist band you have received after check-in.

All tour participants are required to assemble and check-in at the Singapore Transit Tour booth (Terminal 2 Transit near Gate F50), at least 60 minutes before the tours start.

Participants are welcome to check-in as early as 7:30 AM on the day of the tour.

Upon check-in at the Singapore Transit Tour booth at Terminal 2 (Near Gate F50), all participants (above 18 years old) are required to sign an Indemnity Form.

Once checked in, tour participants will receive:

• a wristband that would help the guide identify them as part of the tour group.
  Please ensure the wristband is worn throughout the tour.
• a map of the booth and baggage storage locations, and the hotline to contact a staff member if you require any assistance during the tour.

After all participants in the tour have checked in, there will be a short briefing on how the tours will be conducted.

After which, the tour group will be guided to the Arrival Immigration Hall for clearance.

• To ensure a seamless clearance at the arrival immigration, please complete the online Singapore Arrival Card within three (3) days prior to the date of arrival in Singapore.

As Singapore is a tropical country, please wear comfortable light clothing and footwear. It is ideal to pack light & bring:

1. Your Passport (compulsory),
2. A bottle of water & snack,
3. An umbrella (ponchos will be provided for each participant),
4. Cash / Credit card for purchase of souvenirs (at the end of the tour), and
5. A phone / camera to take pictures and bring back memories.

Note: Please be informed that water will not be provided. You are strongly encouraged to purchase them or bring your own bottle of water to stay hydrated through the tour.

While every effort will be made to ensure all the tour participants are together, they are strongly encouraged to stay close to the tour group.

In the unlikely event that a participant has separated from the group, please contact a tour guide or staff member immediately via the hotline provided when you have checked in for the tour. They are trained to assist you and will help ensure you are safely reunited with your group.

Yes, our tour guides will stop at most of the attractions for you to take photographs and you may purchase souvenirs at the end of the tour at each attraction.

Depending on the issuing country of the passport you are holding, passengers of eligible nationalities enjoy visa-free entry into Singapore. Please click here, to find out if you require a visa to enter Singapore.

Important note: Possession of a valid visa does not guarantee entry into Singapore. Please refer to the entry requirements here for more information.

Visa Free Transit Facility (VFTF)
Passengers of eligible nationalities may also qualify for VFTF if prevailing entry requirements are met. Assessment for entry is determined by the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) officers at the point of entry.

Yes, all transiting passengers are still required to clear through Arrival Immigration. For a seamless experience, you are encouraged to complete the online Singapore Arrival Card within three (3) days prior to the date of arrival in Singapore.

The Singapore Transit Tour is strictly only for passengers transiting in Singapore.

Alternatively, you may consider the Walking Tour provided by XploreSG for non-transit passengers.

As the Singapore Transit Tours require some walking and boarding/alighting of bus coaches, participants with mobility difficulties may find it challenging. It is recommended to consider tours that best suits the passengers’ current physique.

You may join more than one tour. However, please note that transit passengers can only enter and exit Singapore once, as per guidelines by Immigration and Checkpoints Authority of Singapore (ICA).

All participants are strongly advised to plan their itineraries carefully and to ensure that they have enough time for their connecting flights. Singapore Transit Tour will not be held liable for any losses, damages, missed flights or additional costs incurred because of multiple tour bookings.
