Car Details:

5 Seater Car: 3 Passenger with maximum 3 x 24" Luggage

  • If you have too much luggage or you have large pieces of luggage, please choose a bigger car. A decrease in the number of passengers is equal to an increase in the number of luggage you're allowed to bring.
  • According to Japanese Law, children aged 6 years & below are required to sit on a car seat. Please inform us your child's age, height and weight if you are booking a child car seat.

Confirmation Details:

  • This price includes ONE WAY TRANSFER from Osaka International Airport (ITM) to Nara/ Kobe OR Nara/ Kobe to Osaka International Airport (ITM) only.
  • Upon arrival at the airport, kindly do check your phone for any messages from your driver (free Wi-Fi is available at the airport) for meet up location. 
 

Important Notes:

  • Please book at least 2 days in advance to ensure the availability of a chauffeur;
  • Extra charges (SGD40 to SGD60) will apply for more than 90-minute waiting time for arrival pickup at airport or more than 30 minute waiting time for departure pickup at preferred location.
  • Price is NOT VALID for Peak Period: As per Calendar block out dates, if any. Surcharge of SGD $35 - $110 per service applies. Kindly contact us if you want to book any block out dates. 
  • Service will be provided by Chinese speaking driver, additional charge of SGD30 to SGD60 shall be paid if English speaking driver (basic communication only) is required. 
  • No refunds will be made if the cancellation request is made less than 48 hours prior to the requested pickup time, wrong information is provided, no show or flight delays.

 

1. Reservations Policy

  • Reservations are to be made at least 2 business days in advance to ensure the availability of a chauffeur.
  • Amount quoted includes chauffeur services, fuel costs, parking fees, highway toll fees, congestion charges etc. Unless otherwise stated, charges not mentioned above are not included in the amount quoted.
  • For pick-up at the airport, customers are entitled to 90 minutes complimentary waiting time after the flight has landed. Any additional time thereafter will be subjected to additional charges.
  • The customer shall be responsible and liable for charges arising from wrong information provided by them. Refund request will not be entertained and rearranging a transfer would incur additional charges.

 

2. Amendment, Cancellation and No-show Policy:

  • Amendments made to the reservation at least 2 working days prior to the scheduled pick-up date/time will not incur any charges. This applies only to amendments made to names, contact numbers, or number of passengers. Amendments to the car model will incur additional charge regardless of the time the request is made.
  • A new reservation is required for other amendments. The prices for the new reservation may be subjected to change, due to fluctuation in exchange rates and differences in travel seasons.
  • Cancellation and Refund policy would be as below.

    • If cancellation is due to wrong information provided or no show, refund requests will not be entertained. 
    • Any amendments must be done at least 4 business days prior to requested pick-up date. Any amendments thereafter would be subjected to penalty charges.

3. Prices:

  • Prices are subjected to changes due to fluctuation in exchange rates, differences in travel seasons and will be adjusted at the discretion of Changi Recommends and their partners.

4. Product:

  • Picture of product is for illustration purposes only and the car model on the day of pick-up may vary from the illustration.
  • In the case where the travel itinerary involves sea transportation and location is inaccessible by car, pick-ups will be done at the corresponding jetty.

5. Liability:

  • In the circumstance that the chauffeur is required to contact the customer, the customer would need to ensure that he is contactable via phone. Our drivers will be keeping track of the flight status should the flight arrives ahead of its scheduled time. If the driver could not be located, the customer is advised to contact Changi Recommends for further instructions.
  • In the case of any flight emergencies or delays, kindly contact Changi Recommends before you take off. Should there be any emergency returns or landings, you are advised to notify Changi Recommends at your earliest convenience.

6. The Management reserves the right to change the terms and conditions without prior notice.

Driver’s waiting time Policy

Chauffeur will be waiting for you up to 90 minutes upon flight landed time OR up to 30 minutes from the designated pick up time for departure transfer.

Extra charge of JPY100 per minute shall be paid to driver directly if exceed free waiting time.

1. How many days in advance should I book my airport transfer?
  • You are strongly encouraged to reserve your spot online at least 2 working days (Overseas Airport Transfer) before your departure date.
2. What happens after I have successfully booked an airport transfer for my trip?
  • An email will be sent upon successful payment. Your booking will be sent for processing by our operation team to the Transport Provider after payment is completed.
  • You will receive an confirmation email with your order information. If you have not received the email, please check your spam box. If there are errors in your details, kindly contact us at call@changirecommends.com.sg.
  • Upon arrival at the airport, kindly do look out for driver who will be holding a placard with your name on it, if you've booked an airport transfer with Arrival Meet & Greet Service. 
  • Upon arrival at the airport, kindly do check your phone for any messages from your driver (free Wi-Fi is available at the airport), if you've booked an airport transfer without Arrival Meet & Greet Service.
3. What happen if there are changes for my booking details?
  • All changes must be made at least 4 business days before scheduled pick-up time.
  • If the changes do not affect the vehicle capacity/model that we provide, there will be no extra charges applied.
  • If the changes require an upgrade/downgrade in vehicle capacity/model, we may require you to create a new booking with your latest changes. Your previous booking will be fully refunded. Please note that new booking fees vary depending on currency exchange fluctuations and differences in travel seasons.

1. What happens if my flight is delayed?
  • In the case of any flight delays or other flight-related emergencies, please contact us at call@changirecommends.com.sg or Whatsapp +65 8790 0737 for further instructions. We will reach out to the chauffeur on your behalf and there will be no additional charges.
  • There would be a flight status monitoring system where your driver would be following closely as well. Your chauffeur will be aware of your late arrival, you may proceed as planned when you have arrived at the country (for flight delayed less than 2 hours)
2. I have booked a car seat, but my child doesn’t use it, can I ask for a refund? 
  • Child seat fee is strictly non-refundable; Reasons for the non-usage of the pre-arranged child seat will not be entertained. (E.g., child’s crying/ size etc.)
  • Follow your destination country’s rules & regulations for using a child car seat is often ignored, but it is highly important for safety & highly encouraged. Changi Recommends and the operators will not hold relevant responsibility if guests decide not to pay & arrange a child car seat.
  • Malaysia’s regulations: Children under 135cm must use a child/booster seat or related safety cushion.
  • Taiwan’s regulations: Children aged 4yrs & below must use a child/booster seat or related safety cushion.
  • South Korea’s regulations: Children aged 6yrs & below must use a child/booster seat or related safety cushion.
  • Japan’s regulations: Children aged 6yrs & below (or 140cm & below) must use a child/booster seat or related safety cushion.
  • China’s regulations: There is currently no countrywide law in China requiring children to use a child restraint seat. However, places such as Shanghai and Shandong province have introduced regulations making the use of child restraint seats compulsory for children under the age of 4.

  • Upon arrival at the airport, kindly do look out for driver who will be holding a placard with your name on it, if you've booked an airport transfer with Arrival Meet & Greet Service. 
  • Upon arrival at the airport, kindly do check your phone for any messages from your driver (free Wi-Fi is available at the airport), if you've booked an airport transfer without Arrival Meet & Greet Service.

Luggage Matters
1. What is the maximum amount and size of luggage I can bring?
  • The typical luggage size we’d suggest is 64 x 41 x 26 centimetres, which is the 24” medium-sized luggage. If your luggage is larger than this, it will be considered as two separate pieces of luggage.
  • Baby Pram, Wheelchair or Mobility equipment are counted as odd size items.
  • Kindly read car details for maximun capacity of the car you booked.
2. What if I am bringing large suitcases / golf clubs or skis?
  • We are regretted to inform you that normal car types like 5 seaters and 6 seaters are unable to fit in excess luggage or large items. 1. What does my payment cover?

2. Is tipping required?
  • Gratuities is not included in the price and tipping is not customary for many countries. "But I think my chauffeur’s service has been great!" We leave it up to your discretion on tipping.
3. If I booked with you before, do I get any discount for future trips?
  • We do not offer any promotional codes on our transfers as we offer excellent value for money and low prices all year round and for every route we cover. We will continue to do our best in providing competitive prices for our transfers. Insurance Matters
  • You are highly encouraged to have a valid travel insurance policy for the duration of your trip.
Miscellaneous
  • Ensuring a safe and pleasant ride:
Our chauffeur reserves the right to refuse to pick up the passenger(s) if they are seen to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or if they display behaviour and/or language that is abusive and potentially damaging to the chauffeur, other passengers or the vehicle. If the service is cancelled due to the above reasons, there will be no refunds and you may be liable for any vehicle damages and cost incurred.
  • Chauffeur services from place of accommodation to the airport:
To ensure timely arrival, we recommend that you arrange for pick up at least 3hour to 4hours before the departing flight. If your place of accommodation is far from the airport, we suggest that you arrange for an earlier pick up, to allow ample time for your journey and flight check in. Our chauffeur will arrive punctually at the designated pick-up address to ensure that you get to the airport on time.
